Rawson AusEnduro Championship wrap: EV, EM, J2-J4 and JG
Rounds three and four of the 2025 Yamaha Australia Enduro Championship presented by MXstore (AusEnduro) in Rawson (Vic) on April 5-6 provided challenging conditions for all riders, especially after early rain on Saturday added an extra layer of difficulty.
We’ve already wrapped up the Pro Enduro, E1-E3, EW and EJ classes – Saturday review here and Sunday review here – so let’s take a look at how things fared in the other championship categories in Rawson.
EV (Veterans)
Ben Scott (Husqvarna) is the new leader in the EV class after his 1-7 results in Rawson. He’s now on 71pts, ahead of Mark Cook (67pts) and Dale Schmitke (KTM, 50pts) who dominated the Kempsey opener.
Nigel Slocum (GASGAS) was the other victor in Rawson, and he’s fifth in the championship on 41pts behind Kristian Sprenger (42pts).

EM (Masters)
Michael Brady (KTM) and new championship leader Rowan Pumpa (Husqvarna) were the stars of the show in Rawson, sharing victories in the slick conditions.
Pumpa is now on 85pts, ahead of Danny Lucas (Sherco, 64pts) and Damian Smith (Yamaha, 50pts), who was unbeaten in Kempsey.
Meanwhile, Steven Powell (Husqvarna, 2-2) kept the heat on the leaders in rounds three and four, while Con Privitera (KTM) and Daniel Thomas also finished on the podium – the latter taking the Stark Varg electric route.

J2
Cooper Parkes (KTM) was a powerhouse in Rawson, easily winning the Saturday cross country and Sunday sprints on his KTM by nearly two minutes.
He’s now moved into shared ‘custody’ of the J2 championship lead alongside Drake Hutton (Yamaha), with both riders on 82pts ahead of Jack Travis Kearney (KTM, 76pts) and Ollie Paech (GASGAS, 73pts) in a logjammed leaderboard.
Hutton finished just 3.477sec behind Luke Paton (Husqvarna) in a cross country thriller, and on Sunday Paech and Kearney completed the top three behind Parkes.

J3
Nate Munro (Kawasaki) remains the only undefeated rider in the 2025 AusEnduro Championship classes, as he again flexed his muscles in the J3 class to make it four victories in a row.
Saturday’s supremacy was to the tune of two minutes over Blake Brown (KTM), and on Sunday it was Levi Rossi (KTM) who took over the running from Brown to provide Munro’s stiffest challenge.
Munro remains in maximum-point territory (100), ahead of Brown (82pts), Rossi (76pts) and Harley Hutton (Yamaha) who had a 4-4 scorecard in Rawson.

J4
A small blip on the radar for Marcus Nowland (Yamaha) on Saturday, finishing fourth before he rebounded with a sizzling Sunday to increase his championship lead to 7pts (93 to 86) over Kai Austin (GASGAS).
Riley Howell (Sherco) also enjoyed a profitable Rawson harvest (1-4), while Austin went 3-2 for the weekend to finish tied with Harry Gilbertson (KTM, 2-3).
Gilbertson (78pts) and Howell (73pts) are third and fourth, ahead of Harry Hubbard (KTM, 59pts).

JG
The battle of the Junior Girls was a Lorna Lock (Yamaha) benefit, mirroring her brother Kogan’s masterful performance in the EJ class.
Lock won by 10 minutes in round three, and by five minutes in round four as she went on a merry dance.
Olivia Johnson (Husqvarna, 3-2) and Jesse Harris (KTM, 2-3) swapped podium finishes in Rawson, and are second (89pts) and third (78pts) respectively in the championship behind Lock (95pts).
CURRENT STANDINGS IN ALL AUSENDURO CLASSES
AusEnduro now heads to the South Australian town of Tintinara on May 31-June 1 for rounds five and six, which will mark the halfway mark in the 2025 championship.
